Rigs that
play hard such as Jeeps, Broncos, Scouts and Blazers can now get the WARN
high strength 4340 chrome/nickel alloy axles up front.
WARN heavy duty front axles are machined to accept a full-circle retaining
ring which reduces the possibility of a U-joint cap slipping out, a leading
cause of U-joint failure. They also allow the owners of early Dana 30 front
axles with 260x U-joints to upgrade to the more robust 297x U-joint.
WARN axle shafts have proven more robust than stock axles and will normally
survive a U-joint failure. They come with a lifetime warranty for the
original owner against all manufacturer's defects. However, because of
individual driving styles, Warn Industries will not warranty damaged axles
yokes that were the result of a U-joint failure.
